As the father of two young girls, I consider my most important responsibility to be ensuring that they never feel the need to let someone else define who they are or what they can do. Girls’ confidence drops significantly more than boys during puberty and a loving, respectful and proud father can work. He gives her confidence and teaches her that she’s capable of succeeding.
